Symbiosis Post Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing (PGCDM)

PGCDM by Symbiosis Institute of Distance Learning aims to provide a deeper understanding of the foundations of a digital marketing landscape ensuring that the students can exploit digital channels for organizations. This course will also focus on Customer Relationship management and social advertising. The duration of the program is one year and it consists of two semesters.


  • Bachelor’s degree or graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.

  • Students awaiting results for the final year exams of bachelor’s degrees are also eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure

Candidates need to visit on the website www.scdl.net. to register for the course online. Also, they can purchase the form from SCDL Campus, in person. The application fee for the General/ Defence category is Rs 1,000 and for International/SAARC category is USD 100 or Rs 7,100. Then the applicants need to submit the duly filled form along with photocopies of academic documents attested by a notary or class one gazette officer. The form can be submitted by hand till January 10, 2020, or by registered post till January 06, 2020. This form should be sent with copy of work experience documents (if any), 2 passport size recent photographs, copy of Govt. photo identity proof and complete program fee.

The program fee needs to be submitted through payment gateway or by demand draft. Candidates fulfilling all the admission eligibility criteria as per SCDL policies will get confirmed admission. Institute sends an admission letter along with a student ID card to the student by post. However, candidates who are provisionally admitted must submit the required documents and correct the deficiencies immediately upon receipt of an email sent by SCDL to get confirmed admission. If they do not send the required documents till the last date specified, their application will be directly rejected.

Course Fee

The course fee for general, active defence, paramilitary, and police is 17,000. International students have to pay USD 450 / 31,950 for the course. It’s USD 350 / Rs. 24,850 for the SAARC category.

Candidates can expect jobs in Digital Marketing Manager, Social Media Marketing Experts, Search Engine Marketers, E-Customer Relationship Manager after the completion of the course. There are no placements offered by the college.

MICA Certificate in Digital Marketing

MICA, Ahmedabad is popular for courses focused on advertising, marketing, marketing research, media, and communications. This course in digital marketing teaches the strategy and tactics for online marketing. It is a five-month course. The program will include lectures structured in seven modules and an end-term project. After completion of the course, the student earns a PG certificate.


  • Graduation degree (10+2+3) from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline

Admission Procedure

Candidate can opt for online mode and pay by the debit/credit card on the official site of MICA. Alternatively, they can also pay offline through demand draft/pay orders. The candidates are selected based on marks secured in graduation, statement of purpose on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Course Fee

The course fee for the course is Rs 70,000+ taxes including 15,000+ taxes paid at the time of the registration. It’s USD 1,600 for International students.


This course by NMIMS distance learning institute, aims to teach digital framework that will help an organization to transform digitally. It also focusses on creating digital communication, optimize search advertising campaigns and content strategies. It explores tools like Google AdWord, Instagram Advertising, YouTube, etc. to engage online audiences while achieving business goals. It is a one-year course with 2 semesters containing 6 modules.


  • Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from recognized university or equivalent degree recognized by AIU Or
  • H.S.C plus with 2 years of work experience Or
  • S.S.C plus with 3 years of Diploma recognized by AICTE and preferably 2 years of work experience

Admission Procedure

Candidates need to fill up the registration form online and pay application fee of Rs 1,200. After that, the applicant has to visit the closest Authorized Enrolment Partner with the documents like Academic Documents, Work Experience Documents (if any), Photo identity, Passport Size Photographs, and Aadhaar Card for the verification process. Post verification, the candidate has to pay for the course online or by a Demand Draft in favor of ‘SVKM’s NMIMS’ payable at Mumbai. The students can also avail loan facility or EMI Facility. The candidate will get study kit, student portal access and lecture deliverables after the confirmation of admission.

Course Fee

The course fee is Rs.60,000 which may increase if the candidate pays semester wise or EMI installments.
