Coco Chanel

We have all heard of this self-made woman who took charge and left her impact on the fashion world. We all know about the Little Black Dress (LBD) and her iconic fragrance, Chanel No. 5. Coco was taught to sew in the orphanage she grew up in. Before she opened her clothing shop in 1910 (during the ongoing World War 1), she was a singer to make ends meet. Her infamous perfume was later launched in 1926; it was mostly made from natural extracts.

During times when women were oppressed, Coco Channel rose from the ashes to be the best designer of her times.

Later in the 1970s, he freelanced in designing and outsourcing it to other garment manufacturers. He established his brand, Georgio Armani Corporation much later in 1979, making clothes, accessories, underwear, and swimwear for men and women.

He was hired by Napoleon’s wife to be her box maker; this was a significant leap in Vuitton’s career.
