Good news! Students with diabetes can take snacks during exams

EP Staff

Here’s good news for students who’re suffering from diabetes. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has allowed students suffering from Type-I diabetes to take snacks during public examinations. This includes Class X and Class XII board examinations.

The board found that a large number of children are suffering from Type-I diabetes and they need insulin injections at regular intervals to keep their blood glucose levels in check.

This has influenced the Central Board of Secondary Education board to implement such a policy. The students who suffer from diabetes need to produce the certificate showing their medical condition in order to make use of this new rule.
